Some of you may have noticed a number of changes to the Wise Recycling web site operation over the last two weeks.
Due to the traffic being experienced even at this early stage in the development of the Wise Recycling initiative to raise much needed funds for charities and good causes, we recently took the decision to purchase a dedicated server. As the name suggests, we no longer share a server with other web sites which has made our operation much more stable, able to handle almost unlimited transactions all at once and future-proof.
Whilst upgrading our server and transferring all the data across, it was most timely that we applied for a Secure Server Certificate. As some of you may know, this is only supplied to companies trading on the internet who have an exemplary track record so it is something we can be very proud of. In addition, this certificate, seen by the users of our sites as the yellow lock logo and the https:// prefix to the site address, absolutely assures the user that he/she can make purchases with credit/debit cards in complete safety. Indeed many people buying on the internet will not make a purchase without first seeing the presence of this certificate.
The Wise Recycling operation being now on a dedicated server and the site having the Secure Server Certification is yet more evidence that this company trades with the utmost integrity and one can have complete trust in all transactions made with us. This is most important to the charities, schools, churches and other organisations who can, with complete piece of mind, pride themselves on the strategic links they have made with Wise Recycling to substantially increase their fundraising efforts moving forward.
As if the above two powerful steps forward aren’t enough, the web site has been redesigned to be more pleasing to the eye and functionally more simple to use. This is always a work in progress as improving the site and refining it is never ending. When you have a moment, please visit the site to see the improvements and feel free to feed back any comments you might have.
