It’s wonderful to support charities and good causes. Just send us your used printer cartridges in the postage–paid bags that we supply and 20% of their value will be donated to your favourite charity.

Not only that, by buying your new printer cartridges through this site, 10% of their value will be given to that Charity too.

Out and About

We attended three events last week, I know , nothing for months and then they all come along.

Monday was about online marketing at the Nottingham Conference Centre, hundreds of delegates, I really wanted to make a show of our data management abilities, reality was that our processes was over most of the delegates heads although they did cotton on to the Fund Raising Initiative, as the delegates were mostly decision makers, we did get a lot of good leads. Far too many to list, three of us were working flat much of the time.
A very long day but very fruitful.

Wednesday morning I was again in Nottingham, at a Waste Management event, very small, just a dozen delegates. Good contacts again, one WEE dismanteller has lots of cartridges and had no home for them, A CIC already breaks down video tapes and the like, they are going to take our end of life toners and dismantle them for components and materials. Another company waste manages for corporates, they need to know the tonnage of mixed plastics not sent to landfill. When we log in returns we store weight data already, so for another column in reporting we can supply the tonnage information readily. Possibly a very good selling point that had been overlooked, not any more.

Thursday was at the Epic Centre on Lincoln Showground, Sustain Lincolnshire, mostly renewables so we again were a little bit different. Again the corporate waste element was raised, RAF Waddington has to waste audit, North Kesteven District Council has the same issue. One delegate tapped three separate charities into my laptop and said she could list thirty more, that is one big email to her later.

In short, all three events were completely different, all so worthwhile attending both for Causes, Supporters and business contacts.

My tip, attend every event you can, all three of the above events were sponsored by various government bodies, so apart from our personal expenditure costs were minimal even food was provided at two events.

Contact your local Business Link, they might not be event organisers but they may well be the sponsor or conduit to sponsorship.

Wise Fundraising

Wise Fundraising is our new umbrella identity, the new name better describes what we do: helping Charities and Good Causes to raise funds, selling printer cartridges and returning empty cartridges for remanufacturing.

St Mary’s Hospice and Wise Recycling Ltd: working together to raise funds for the support and assistance of the community in South Cumbria

St Mary’s Hospice have enlisted the assistance of Wise Recycling Ltd to generate funds for the benefit of our community.

A forerunner in corporate fund raising for charities and good causes, Wise Recycling Ltd will be assisting St Mary’s Hospice by supplying and recycling ink jet cartridges and toners. Our hospice will receive funding from each new sale and from the value of returned empty cartridges or toners.

Supporters of St Mary’s Hospice can assist with raising funds by purchasing their new cartridges or toners using the banner on the St Mary’s website. Simply click on the banner and you will be taken to Wise Recycling’s shopping site. Using this banner means 10% of the value of your purchases are automatically donated to St Mary’s Hospice.
Recycle to support St Mary's Hospice

Returns bags are issued with each sale to enable the return of the used item. The bags will detail that St Mary’s Hospice is the charitable organisation you support, so ensuring 20% of the value of the empties is donated to ourselves. Furthermore, the postage is inclusive, so returning a used item costs only a little time and, as many are suitable for re-filling or re-manufacture, you will be helping the environment.

As ink jet cartridges and/or toners are a commodity which most of us use in conjunction with our computers, this method of raising funds for St Mary’s Hospice is simple yet effective. Wise Recycling Ltd aims to be very competitive in it’s pricing, so click on the banner and see what they can offer. For those of you who prefer ordering to have a more personal touch, please telephone 01 507 463100, where Mia, Chris or Rob will be very happy to assist you.
